  • Air Cooled (AFC/ACC)

    Air Cooled (AFC/ACC)

Air Cooled Condensers directly condense exhaust steam from the steam turbine and return condensate to the boiler without water loss.

Air Cooled Condenser(ACC) is a direct dry cooling system where the steam is condensed inside air-cooled finned tubes.

Air Cooled Condenser is made of modules arranged in parallel row. Each module contains a number of fin tube bundles. An axial flow, forced draft fan located in each module forces the cooling air across the heat exchange area of the fin tubes.

  • Deaerator

    Deaerator

A deaerator is a device that is widely used for the removal of oxygen and other dissolved gases from the feed water to steam-generating boiler.

In particular, dissolved oxygen in boiler feed waters will cause serious corrosion damage in steam systems by attaching to the walls of metal piping and other metallic equipment and forming oxides.

Most deaerators are designed remove oxygen down to levels 7 ppb by weight or less as well as essentially eliminating carbon dioxide.

  • HP/LP/DH Heater

    HP/LP/DH Heater

    Feed Water Heater

Feed Water Heater is a power plant component used to pre-heat water delivered to a steam generating boiler.

    Low Pressure Heater

A Heater located between the condensate pump and either the boiler feed pump.

It normally extracts steam from the low pressure turbine.

    High Pressure Heater

A Heater located downstream of the boiler feed pump typically the tube side design pressure is at least 100㎏/㎠ and the steam source is the high pressure turbine.

  • Surface condenser

    Surface condenser

A surface condenser is commonly used term for a water-cooled shell and tube heat exchanger installed on the exhaust stem from a steam turbine in thermal power stations.

These condensers are heat exchangers which convert steam from its gaseous to its liquid state at a pressure below.

In thermal power plants, the primary purpose of a surface condenser is to condense the exhaust steam from a steam turbine to obtain maximum efficiency.

  • Re-Boiler

    Re-Boiler

A re-boiler is typically a heat exchanger or a fired heater used to provide heat to the bottom of an industrial distillation column.

It boils the liquid from the bottom of a distillation column to generate vapors which are returned to the column to drive the distillation separation.
